Almost intact olpe found in 1957 at a cemetery on the south slope of the Acropolis. It comes from Burial’s XL-22 fill and was offered, along with three more vessels, as a burial offering to the second of the two deceased, who was placed later in the grave.

Its base is flat, the body has rounded walls, the rim is outturned and the high handle vertical. The body is decorated with a wide black band, the neck with zig-zag and the handle with small horizontal parallel lines.
